50 years!
Wilton Art® celebrated the month of June in colorful style for Gay Pride.
We welcomed all to the lobby of Wilton Manors City Hall to immerse themselves in a cascade of ribbons. Each ribbon, unique in size, color, length and width, celebrated the diversity of each individual person, as yourself. One and all celebrated themselves as a part of this bold color celebration.
We invited all to join in the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall movement for equality for LGBT individuals.
Stonewall was not simply a bar fight between patrons, drag queens and police. It was a stand against an OPPRESSION of each person’s right to be the individual they truly were created to be.
