Calling All Artists!

Wilton Art™ is calling all artists to help as we build public art throughout Wilton Manors. January 2021, we will be presenting a fundraising auction.

We invite artists to create a one of a kind artwork to participate in the fundraising arm of Wilton Art™. All entries should be exactly 12” by 12”. Choose your medium, method, madness as you create this artwork for a public silent auction.

We will be showcasing all artists in a fund raising exhibition held at The Shoppes of Wilton Manors for a five week long salute to art, artists and art patrons.

Wilton Art™ will hang all art by established, new and emerging artists side by side to create a wall of art. The bidding will all start $125 and will grow in incremental amounts until the closing party where winners will be announced.

Each artist agrees to sell their work at a 50% commission based on the bid level received. The purchaser takes home a beautiful one of a kind work of art. Wilton Art™ gets a 50% donation to fund future public art projects. (Unless the artist donates their work and Wilton Art™ would receive the entire bid amount.)

Opening Night Celebration

Friday, TBD, 2021 the exhibition opens to the public and the bidding begins.

Closing Bids Party

Sunday, TBD, 2021, Wilton Art™ will host a celebratory reception for final bidding.

Get ready for the grand finale. Sharpen your pencils. Wear some padded clothing so you don’t get elbowed away from your winning bid on your favorite new artist.

Wilton Art™ artsquare12x12.2020 silent auction lots will close every 10 minutes in last name alphabetical order. Bidders need not be present to win. Refreshments will be served.

ART up. Here is your chance to start your art collection, build your art collection or start your new passion for art. Bid early, check back often, bid again. The commissions and donation help provide funding for future art exhibitions, public art funding and programming.

ARTIST GUIDELINES

Complete an artwork receipt form below, and be sure to sign the form. Include a CV to tell potential bidders about your art.

Any artist may submit artwork to be included in the exhibition/ fundraiser.

Artwork must be 12” x 12”. Only two submissions per artist. Any type of media is welcome.

Please DO NOT submit any wet panels. There should be hanging devices on all artwork.

Unframed work is preferred.
